    Three weeks of preseason NFL football have come and gone. Is there any more preseason NFL action, and if so, are there any games today? Here’s a look at what the Thursday Night Football schedule has in store for the rest of the 2023 NFL season.

    Are There Any NFL Games Today?

    After the NFL extended the regular season to 18 weeks in 2021, the preseason was cut down from four to three weeks. Outside of the participants in the Hall of Fame Game, the other 30 NFL teams play just three preseason games and then rest a week before the start of the 2023 regular season.

    With Week 3 of the 2023 NFL preseason completed, there are no NFL games today, and the league begins its preparation for the start of the 2023 season. The reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, kick things off by hosting the Detroit Lions in Week 1 on Thursday Night Football. Here’s a look at the entire TNF regular-season schedule.

    2023 Thursday Night Football Schedule

    The Thursday Night Football schedule runs from Week 1 to Week 17, with two additional games during the day in Week 12 due to Thanksgiving. 2023 marked the first of an 11-year deal between the NFL and Prime Video for Prime to be the home of Thursday Night Football.

    Besides the season opener and Thanksgiving night broadcast by NBC, all Thursday Night Football games will be available at 8:15 p.m. on Amazon Prime.
