NFL GameDay Morning, which debuted in 2006 on the NFL Network, has provided football fans with a detailed preview of that week’s games for nearly two decades.
The core of the show has worked together for over a decade, with Rich Eisen, Steve Mariucci, and Kurt Warner as longtime contributors.
The show is from 9 a.m. ET until 1 p.m. ET on NFL Sundays. Let’s look at the show’s crew ahead of the 2024 season.
Who Is on NFL GameDay Morning?
Host | Rich Eisen
Eisen is the face of the NFL Network and joined just months before it launched in November 2003. He has hosted a number of different shows, including leading the network’s coverage during the NFL Draft.
The former SportsCenter anchor also hosts The Rich Eisen Show during the week on The Roku Channel and SiriusXM. He’ll begin his 19th season of hosting the pregame show on Sunday, Sept. 8.
Analyst | Steve Mariucci
The former San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions coach has been on NFL GameDay Morning since the show started in 2006.
Mariucci, who also contributed to the network’s draft coverage, led the 49ers to the playoffs four times. He never got the Lions to the playoffs in his time there from 2003 to 2005 (he was fired after starting 4-7 in ’05).
Analyst | Kurt Warner
The Hall of Fame quarterback joined the NFL Network after he retired in 2010.
Warner, who played 12 seasons, was named MVP of Super Bowl XXIV when the St. Louis Rams defeated the Tennessee Titans. Warner played in two other Super Bowls — including one with the Arizona Cardinals in the 2008 season — and was named MVP twice in his career. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017.

Rapoport has been covering the NFL since 2009 when he spent three seasons as a beat writer for the New England Patriots. He joined the NFL Network in 2012 and became the network’s insider in 2013.

Pelissero joins Rapoport on the league insider side. He helps provide additional insider information ahead of contests from injuries, to lineup changes, to even contract chatter. He joined the network in 2017.

Garafolo also joins the GameDay morning crew as the third league insider. He originally covered the New York Giants for USA Today before crossing over to Fox Sports 1. Garafolo has worked for the NFL Network since 2016.
