“Jordan Love Would Never” – NFL Fans Take Aim at Aaron Rodgers’ Blame Game With Mike Williams Following MNF Loss

Aaron Rodgers turned up the heat on Monday night against the Buffalo Bills at home. However, the veteran QB couldn’t put the game to bed thanks to a late interception by Bills CB Taron Johnson.

After the game, A-Rod blamed his wide receiver Mike Williams for faltering on key strategic details. However, NFL fans have taken an issue with Rodgers’ stance.

Aaron Rodgers Gets Intercepted and Blames Mike Williams for the Wrong Route

On third-and-16 with only two minutes left on the clock, the Jets trailed by three points. Rodgers threw a pass in the direction of Williams, however, the WR fell trying to catch the pass that was just short. Johnson caught a diving catch and dashed the Jets’ hopes of a comeback.

After the game, Rodgers highlighted the late-game interception was due to Williams running the wrong route. “When I peek my eyes back there, [Williams] is running an in-breaker. He’s got to be on the red line. It’s the little things every single time,” said Rodgers to the reporters.

However, NFL fans disliked this gesture for the 40-year-old and stated that other QBs of the league would not blame their teammates for a mistake.

Jordan Love would never,” tweeted one fan.

“My QB would never blame his players. What a f****** DOUCHE Aaron Rodgers is,” replied one fan.

Fans had issues with A-Rod’s leadership skills as well. One fan tweeted, “Garbage leader, Herbert would never.”

Justin Herbert would have blamed himself and not his WR. There’s different levels of leadership,” tweeted one fan on X.

Several fans called out Rodgers for not taking responsibility for his shortcomings and suggested this is a pattern with the four-time NFL MVP.

“Rodgers not taking responsibility. Shocking,” wrote one fan sarcastically on X.

“Consider me shocked that Rodgers doesn’t take accountability for the under throw,” wrote another fan.

Aaron Rodgers Set To Reunite With His Former Receiver

Rodgers ended the game against the Bills by completing 23 of his 35 throws for 294 yards and two touchdowns. However, Rodgers also threw his fifth interception of the season as well. With the Jets standing at 2-4, they desperately needed changes.

One of those has been the firing of head coach Robert Saleh, and the other is the trade of Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams. Rodgers and Adams played eight seasons together for the Green Bay Packers and thrived. Jets fans would be hoping for a similar case as the pair are set to combine once again.

The Jets take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in their Week 7 clash on the road. Per reports, Adams would be available for that October 20 game.
