Former New York Jets Scout Daniel Kelly recently faced the spotlight for constantly criticizing the Colorado quarterback.
Kelly caught the fans’ attention this time when he took to Twitter to dare Sanders to participate in the 2025 NFL Combine.

After Shedeur told ESPN he wasn’t sure about throwing in the NFL combine, Kelly assumed the reason behind the decision was so he would not get exposed in front of the NFL until he signed his rookie contract.
Kelly highlighted Sanders’ stats from 2024 and shared that the Colorado quarterback will not try to work with receivers he hasn’t played with before.
Reacting to this statement, fans took Sanders’ side and wrote, “He will have to throw at his pro day and at private workouts. He can’t avoid it till draft day and his contract is signed. I thought you were a former scout. What an uninformed thing to say.”

“Former probably for a reason. QB is the one position most teams fail at when scouting. Look at the last 10 years of qb’s taken in the 1st round. Look at the draft boards of where players like Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have landed and been ranked. Please,” another fan added.
