Due to an injury, Stefon Diggs couldn’t make much of an impact in his first season with the Houston Texans. He had signed a restructured deal with the Texas team for one year, which is about to end.
However, the Texans’ general manager, Nick Caserio, provided an update on the wide receiver’s future, and NFL fans are divided on Caserio’s plans for Diggs.

Is Stefon Diggs’ Future in Houston?
In an interview with the Houston Chronicle, Caserio outlined his thoughts on Diggs’ future. The wideout is set to be a free agent, but Caserio wants to act before Diggs can bolt.
“We have good relationships with Stef [Diggs] and his representation,” he said. “We enjoyed having Stef in the building. So, the door is always open. A number of players have expressed sentiments and interest in potentially returning to our team next season. We never rule anything out, so we’re going to be open-minded.”
Caserio’s comments reached X, and fans were undecided about whether the 31-year-old star should be re-signed.
“He was amazing for their offense when he played,” responded one fan.
“Not a good locker room guy for a young team plus he’s washed they don’t need him,” one user tweeted.

“Houston’s offensive woes started after he got hurt,” added a fan.
“When will teams wake up to this dudes behavior?? Strouds drop off was clearly influenced by his presence imo,” replied a user.

C.J. Stroud Wants Diggs in His Camp
During the Week 8 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, the four-time Pro Bowler suffered a non-contact injury and did not return to the field. Reports later indicated that Diggs had torn his ACL and would be out for the entire season.
Before the injury, the former Buffalo Bills receiver registered 47 receptions for 496 yards and three touchdowns in 8 games. His quarterback, C.J. Stroud, has already expressed a desire to play with him more.
“That’s my boy. I would love to have Stef back,” Stroud said. “We were just getting started. He was having so much fun. Me and him were starting to build a rapport.”
