‘Poetic Justice’ – NFL Fans React to Tee Higgins’ IG Post As Bengals Contract Dilemma Grows

Wide receiver Tee Higgins made a cryptic post on Instagram, leading NFL fans to react, predicting that he is leaving Cincinnati.

Wide receiver Tee Higgins was drafted early in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. Since then, he has become part of the most dynamic wide receiver duo in the league with Ja’Marr Chase. Although he is the No. 2 option in that pairing, he is still a star in his own right.

However, after getting franchise-tagged last season, he needs a new contract. With less than a month until free agency, it is unclear whether he will re-sign in Cincinnati.

NFL Fans React After Tee Higgins Makes a Cryptic Post on Instagram

Higgins still does not have a contract, leading to lots of media speculation that he could be departing the Bengals. This would be bad news for the Bengals as they are already lacking in depth. Higgins did not help to quell the media storm when he made an Instagram post with a cryptic message.

“Priorities are rare, options are everywhere.”

This led many NFL fans to react and predict that he is leaving the Bengals. When a photo of his post was reposted on X, many fans reacted.

“Poetic justice. See you in LA,” one fan wrote.

“He gone damn. Bengals should get Kupp or Garrett Wilson,” one fan commented.

“Yeah that Bengals Super Bowl window is closed, y’all gonna stay around 10 wins until Burrow request a trade,” one fan added.

Fans continued to react to this post on X.

“I bet the Bengals will cheap out. They will eventually lose Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase because they don’t want to pay their stars,” one fan wrote.

“It’s just goin to be hard for the bengals to match these offers which is big big numbers like tee is about get paid one way or another and I just think it’s goin to too much for the bengals and hey like I said it’s also goin up to tee,” one fan commented.

“I don’t understand why Cincinnati refuses to pay people. Not to flex about my own team, but we got AJ and Smitty. How? Because the organization takes care of its players before it’s too late,” one fan added.

NFL free agency does not start until March 12. So, the Bengals still have some time to negotiate a contract with Higgins. Even if they can sign him, they will not get relief for long because Chase and others need a new contract sooner than later.
