Shedeur Sanders’ Self-Gloating Tweet Garners Mixed Reactions From Fans

While many supporters flooded the comments with birthday wishes, others couldn’t resist teasing or calling out the young QB. One Las Vegas Raiders fan said, “and on April 24, 2025, you’ll become a Raiders legend 👀👀.”

Another said, “please save the Cleveland Browns bro dont reject us tortured fans who support you 🙏”

One X user tweeted, “Can’t wait till in April for the birth the legendary Sander-to-Nabers-connection,” dreaming of Sanders joining the New York Giants and teaming up with Malik Nabers.

“LOL. Dude, you’re 19 years old you know nothing about anything You can’t declare what a legend is you have no clue. You haven’t been alive long enough to even know what that is,” commented another, either mistakenly or jokingly misrepresenting the 23-year-old QB’s age.

“Future giant,” tweeted one more, referencing heavy rumors of him playing for New York in the 2025 NFL season.

One more fan wrote, “Drake level cringe 🤡,” drawing a parallel to the rapper’s often self-referential style.

“I can’t wait to see you Malik ball out bro,” another said.

The youngest son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, the former Colorado star is set to light up the 2025 NFL Draft, going head to head with Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward for potentially the No. 1 pick in April.

Sanders Gets Vote of Confidence From Coach Prime as NFL Draft Looms

The Colorado quarterback has his biggest supporter in his corner as the 2025 NFL Draft approaches: his father. Speaking on ESPN’s “First Take” in New Orleans, Coach Prime pushed back against criticisms of his son’s arm strength and mobility, making it clear he doesn’t buy into the weak and baseless criticisms.

“It don’t make sense,” Deion said when asked about concerns regarding Shedeur’s ability as a pro prospect. He pointed out that his son has never had arm strength issues in a game. “Shedeur is highly accurate. I think he had the highest completion percentage in college football last year, and he’s never slipped down below, I think, 68% completion percentage in his whole tenure as a college athlete,” he added.

Regarding his mobility, Coach Prime acknowledged that Shedeur isn’t a Lamar Jackson-style runner but dismissed the idea that his son struggles outside the pocket. “Mobility? His escapability is tremendous. No, he’s not, he’s not Lamar. He’s not that,” said the Colorado Buffaloes head coach.

As Shedeur prepares for April’s draft, he’s not just aiming for the first round — he wants to top his dad’s legacy. “His daddy was the fifth pick, so he wants to go No. 1 through No. 4,” Deion revealed.

Whether he hits that goal or not, Shedeur is one of the most sought-after quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft class.
