    NFL Fans Send Prayers to Legend Randy Moss as He Reveals He Is ‘Battling Something Internally’

    Randy Moss asked fans for prayers as he announced his ongoing "internal" struggle during his latest appearance on "Sunday NFL Countdown."

    Randy Moss is not only one of the NFL‘s most iconic former wide receivers but also an absolute fan favorite in the football media industry. The 47-year-old West Virginia native gave fans a scare when he shared a heartfelt and concerning update on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown.”

    Fans React to Randy Moss’ Concerning Health Status

    The former New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings great appeared wearing sunglasses during the broadcast. He didn’t leave the fans guessing; addressing fans’ curiosity about his appearance, Moss revealed that he’s battling with an internal health issue.

    “Me and my wife, me and my family, we are battling something internally,” Moss shared to viewers live on the air on Sunday. “I need all the prayer warriors — God bless you all and thanks for the prayers.”

    Fans started pouring their love and prayers for Moss who has been an inspiration for many. A fan wrote, “🙏🙏🙏 for Randy and his family.”

    Another one added, “Noo not Randy I’m so sad rn.”

    “From last week…looks a lot like jaundice which is most commonly caused by liver disease… Hopefully it’s just a temporary fixable thing,” another fan poured his heart out.

    “Love Randy 🙏,” wrote a Moss supporter.

    A hopeful voice wrote, “The eyes look a lot better this week at least. Hope all is well with him.”

    A fan claimed, “I noticed his yellow eyes last week when they were zooming in him on a feature. Didn’t say anything to anyone but I did notice it. Best wishes Randy”

    The Pro Football Hall of Famer explained that after last week’s show, fans expressed concerns about his eyes, noting they appeared yellow. Therefore, he chose to wear a pair of sunglasses for his Dec. 1 appearance on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” to maintain privacy over any health concerns.

    Even in his address, Moss didn’t disclose specific details about his condition,  and he urged fans — especially men — to prioritize their health.

    “All you men get your check-ups and get your blood work done,” he emphasized.

    The football community has rallied around Moss, offering prayers and well wishes for his recovery.

    As one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history, with 15,292 receiving yards and 156 touchdowns, Moss is a football great. Spending 14 seasons in the NFL, he played for Minnesota from 1998 to 2005 along with a few additional games in the 2010 season. Moss also played for the then-Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, and San Francisco 49ers over the course of a decade.

    Over the years, Moss has made his name in philanthropy, founding and financing numerous charitable endeavors since 1998. He regularly donates clothing and food to needy families and encourages them toward sports.

    The analyst also formed the “Randy Moss Motorsports” auto racing team in the then-named NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2008 which shut down four years later. He started his career in broadcasting with Fox Sports 1’s “Fox Football Daily” and transitioned to ESPN on “Sunday NFL Countdown” and “Monday Night Countdown” in 2016.
