Fans Disagree as Pete Carroll Refuses To Solidify Reports of Russell Wilson to the Raiders

The new Raiders HC recently made an appearance on the “What The Football” podcast and he was asked about his plans for bringing in Wilson. The 2014 Super Bowl-winning head coach chose to stay diplomatic and did not reveal his hand.

He neither confirmed nor denied the rumors of Wilson joining him in Nevada. A page on X (formerly Twitter) tweeted Carroll’s words that fueled the fire even more. However, fans are undecided whether this would be a good move.

“Yeah, he’s a raider,” replied one fan.

“Raiders would be foolish to bring Russ to Vegas,” one fan tweeted.

“That’s the long way of saying ‘nah the past is the past Russ and I are done working together’”, added a fan.

“he ain’t coming back,” one user responded.

“This is all talk, we both know that he’s going to try to get Russell Wilson to join the Raiders and there’s no question about that,” another fan added.

“In other words, it’s all worked out but I don’t want to get in trouble for tampering,” tweeted another fan.

NFL Insider Suggests There’s a Way for Wilson to the Raiders

Wilson and Carroll enjoyed tremendous success in Seattle; even winning a Super Bowl. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that they could bring back that partnership in Las Vegas despite Wilson’s age and declining mobility.

“Two ex-Carroll assistants believe they can coexist, with one taking it as far as predicting that Wilson will sign there, adding that the two rekindled their relationship a little over a year ago after a rocky ending in Seattle,” wrote Fowler.

He suggested that nothing is concrete in the QB department in Las Vegas. However, Wilson putting on Silver and Black is a possibility.
