The San Francisco 49ers are 4-4 this season; however, their one true hope, running back Christian McCaffrey, is preparing to return for their Week 10 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he continues to recover from a longstanding Achilles injury.
While McCaffrey prepares to return to the field, he enjoyed the Halloween spirit with his wife, Olivia Culpo. The model and actress posted a heartwarming video of the two showing off their creative costumes for the holiday season.
Fans React to Olivia and Christian’s Halloween Costume
Culpos was seen donning a Wizard of Oz costume styled with two signature pigtails and red ribbons, while the 49ers running back dressed as the Tin Man.
In the movie, Tin Man is in love with Dorothy and follows everything she says to him without fail, which makes it an even more hilarious choice for McCaffrey and Culpo.

While many fans found the costume cute, some fans couldn’t help but notice McCaffrey’s hilarious expressions while showing off his outfit.

While fans eagerly await McCaffrey to show off his electric skills this season, the star running back suffered a major injury during the preseason, which ended up causing him to miss every game this season.
However, NFL insider Adam Schefter shares some positive news with fans, “We have some positive Christian McCaffrey news … So far has not had any setbacks during his recovery .. Right now he’s poised to get back after their bye and play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.”
While the 49ers have a bye week this time, the team will be focusing on McCaffrey’s recovery and hope to secure a win with him in Week 10.
