Deion Sanders’ son, Shedeur Sanders, will not be throwing at the 2025 NFL Combine and will do so at Colorado’s Pro Day. However, he is present in Indianapolis for the media interactions and the interviews.
While the Colorado quarterback is popular for his confidence, including the iconic watch flex celebration, he sometimes catches flak from fans for his blunt statements.

NFL Fans React to Shedeur Sanders’ Bold Comment on His Future in the League
It is possible that the Cleveland Browns will pick Shedeur Sanders as the No. 2 overall pick, hoping to fix their quarterback situation with the Colorado star.
When asked about his opinion on why he could turn things around for an NFL Team like the Browns, which had an overall record of 3-14 in the 2024 season, Shedeur Sanders said it’s because he’s done that already at two places.
After spending two years at Jackson State, Shedeur Sanders and Deion Sanders moved to Colorado and completely changed the program’s relevance in the college football world.
In 2022, Colorado ended the season with an overall record of 1-11. In 2023, after the Sanders takeover, they went 4-8, followed by a successful 2024 season, where they finished the year at 9-4.
“Because I’ve done that two locations already, so it’s simple. So that’s why, when people say I’m not, you know, one of the top quarterbacks, or the top quarterback is, What are y’all going based off of? Because I did it year, year after year after year, then you see the progression. So that obviously you got to be some type of external hate that you have for the family for the last name for anything, because I know I proved myself on the field.” Shedeur Sanders said.
Reacting to these statements, one fan wrote, “You ain’t play nobody if u would’ve play Alabama- Texas – Ohio state – Georgia and put numbers up then I would say that but u not him lol we bouta see in the nfl your daddy can’t save you.”
“This is like [Kurtis] Rourke from Indiana going out there telling people look what I did I turned a 3-9 Indiana team into a 11 win team and a playoff berth so I deserve to be the first QB taken please tell me what the difference is seriously??.” another fan added.
“We will see. But as a QB having Deons confidence/cockiness is not gonna go well in the NFL. If you were a defender or WR, yeah okay I can go with it. Not as a franchise QB.” another fan highlighted.
“Him saying ‘because I done it’ tells me all I need to know.” a Raiders fan wrote.
“Lol Jackson state and freaking Colorado. What a legend! In his own mind.” another fan commented.
The 2025 NFL Draft is set to take place from April 24 to April 26 in Green Bay, Wis.
