Unanimous All-American defensive end Abdul Carter’s actions on social media made it clear he wants to be drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles. And why not? After all, Philly is his home.
Carter was born and brought up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended La Salle College High School and played his entire college career in his native with the Penn State Nittany Lions. So when the NFL Draft comes around, he’d love for a situation to arise that would allow him to play for the city he’s represented.
Fans Give Predictions in Aftermath of Abdul Carter Liking Eagles Post
Carter, who is projected as a first-round pick in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, had fans buzzing after he liked a post that said that in order to get drafted by the Eagles he needs to put on a disappointing show in the upcoming NFL Combine, which will take some interest off him from other franchises.
The comment that Carter liked said, “Run a lil slow at the combine and you’ll be with them boys in a few months.”
Carter’s social media action was shared on X, prompting fans to react to it while predicting his draft destination.
“Bro is a Jaguar,” one fan commented.

Some fans predicted the likelihood of it happening is very low.
“Sadly it won’t happen,” another posted.
“49ers aren’t letting that happen lol,” one fan said humorously.
“He could run a 6.6 40 and he’s still going round 1 top -1-6,” another wrote.
“Well, he’ll end up as Caedan’s teammate again, this time in New England,” another fan predicted him to be drafted by the Patriots.
“Titans or Browns,” one fan predicts.
Well keep dreaming it ain’t happening

What Are the Odds of Carter Being Drafted by the Eagles?
To be frank, less than zero.
Carter is getting a lot of traction for being a top-five pick in 2025. Thus, in all likelihood, the Eagles, who will hold the No. 31 or 32 pick depending on the outcome of the Super Bow, have no chance to draft him even in the best-case scenario.
The only way Philadelphia can do this is by trading up into the top five and hoping any teams above them, like the Tennessee Titans, pass on Carter.
None of that seems likely. Also, why would the Eagles, who just won the NFC Championship, disturb their core?
