NFL fans are losing their minds after Terrell Owens dropped some serious praise toward Arizona State Sun Devils RB Cam Skattebo, calling him the real deal. And not just that — Owens compared him to a five-time Pro Bowl running back.
Skatteboβs been tearing it up, and now heβs got one of the leagueβs legends backing him. If that doesnβt scream βfuture star,β we really donβt know what does.
Terrell Owens Hypes Cam Skattebo, Compares Him to Marshawn Lynch
Owens just made NFL fansβ day with a social media post: βIβve been seeing snippets of this kid @camskattebo5 the last couple of years and after today I AM A CAM SKATTEBO fan!!! Heβs a dog!!!β
Known for his bold takes, Owens dropped this gem after watching Skattebo in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl against Texas, comparing him to none other than Marshawn Lynch.
Safe to say, the hype is real.
Cam Skattebo was named MVP of the Peach Bowl π
"In 26 years we've never had to be able to do this."

Fans immediately jumped in with their own reactions, with one saying, βHeβs the real deal! Loved watching him play! Been trying to find his jersey to buy!!!β
This level of excitement shows Skatteboβs growing fan base.
Others chimed in with comparisons.
βI see Percy Harvin in him,β said one, referencing the former NFL wideoutβs explosive ability.
Another saw shades of Marion Barber in his playstyle, hinting at his tough, downhill running style.
However, not everyone was all-in.
One fan offered a note of caution, saying, βI love his physical play, but if he doesn’t learn how to get down or not take so many hits, his time in the NFL will be shortened.β Smart advice, but still, the love for Skattebo is undeniable.
With his Senior Bowl appearance on the horizon, many are hoping NFL teams, including the Buffalo Bills, will take notice.
As one fan said, βI saw heβs slated to play in the Senior Bowl so Iβm hoping the Bills are interested π₯° seems like their type of guy!β
While Owens thinks the College Football Playoff is βrigged,β heβs all in when it comes to Skattebo, and so are we.
Owens Slams CFP’s No-Call in Peach Bowl
Owens is calling foul on the CFP after a controversial no-call in the Peach Bowl. During Arizona State Sun Devils’ final drive in regulation, Texas defensive back Michael Taaffe delivered a helmet-to-helmet hit on WR Melquan Stovall, a clear targeting violation in Owens’ eyes.
Despite the review, the officials decided not to flag the play, leaving Arizona State to punt the ball away. Owens wasnβt having it.
“Watching this @TexasFootball @ASU game and just watched a textbook ‘targeting’ play get reviewed and determined by the review booth that it wasnβt,” Owens posted on X. “Iβm really beginning to think the games are rigged. Compare that hit a lot of targeting hits throughout the year and Iβve seen less get upheld.”

If the call had gone Arizona Stateβs way, they could’ve had a shot at a game-winning field goal. Instead, the Longhorns missed their own field goal attempt as time expired.
Despite the controversial decision, Arizona State’s Skattebo kept the game alive with over 100 rushing yards, a 42-yard passing TD, and nearly 100 receiving yards. Owensβ frustrations aside, the Peach Bowl delivered an unforgettable performance.
