‘Ready for Fire’ – NFL Fans Fired Up As Chiefs Unveil Dapper Jerseys for Super Bowl 59

On Jan. 28, the AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs revealed what jersey they will wear for Super Bowl 59. In a social media video posted to X, the Chiefs announced they will wear their white away jerseys in the big game. The clip shows the Super Bowl logo being stitched onto the iconic Chiefs jersey ahead of the contest against the Philadelphia Eagles.

This decision also means the Eagles will wear their green jerseys in the Super Bowl this year. This jersey combination is the same one both teams wore in Super Bowl 57, a game the Chiefs won 38-35.

    Super Bowl 59 Preview

The rematch of Super Bowl 57 is between two of the best teams in the league this year. The Chiefs qualified for the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the AFC after an impressive 15-2 campaign this year. Meanwhile, the Eagles were the No. 2 seed in the NFC after finishing the regular season with a 14-3 record.

On their respective roads to the Super Bowl, the Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills, thanks to strong efforts by Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and George Karlaftis.

At the same time, the Eagles triumphed over the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, and Washington Commanders, with superstar running back Saquon Barkley making plays and a formidable defensive unit led by Jalen Carter and Zack Baun.

The Chiefs and Eagles face off against each other on Feb. 9, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. ET from Caesars Superdome — home of the New Orleans Saints. Kevin Burkhardt and the man Mahomes is chasing for the most Super Bowl championships in NFL history — Tom Brady — will be on the call for this massive contest.
