‘Leave Daniel Jones in Germany’ – NFL Fans Done With Giants QB After Another Awful Showing vs. Panthers

    Published on

A nightmarish 2024 NFL season continues for New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones, who continues to struggle against the Panthers in Germany.

Daniel Jones seems to be sending the New York Giants into deeper troubles week after week. In Week 10, the Giants’ QB is delivering yet another dreadful performance, this time in Munich against the Carolina Panthers.

The Giants look completely outclassed in a game that should have been a clash of struggling teams. At halftime, Jones had a stat line of 6 of 14 for a paltry 54 yards and an interception.

Fans Fume With Frustration Over Latest Daniel Jones Outing Against Panthers

A nightmarish 2024 NFL season continues for Jones. What’s worse is that the Panthers boast one of the league’s weakest defenses, surrendering over 32 points per game. Yet somehow, they pitched a first-half shutout against Jones and the Giants’ offense.

This abysmal outing prompted fans to lose patience with their 27-year-old QB. The overwhelming sentiment?

“Leave Daniel Jones in Germany,” one fan said.

Fans were quick to vent their frustrations with Jones, who, at this point, appears unable to shake off his reputation for inconsistency.

One fan commented, “Did you ever think you would watch an NFL game this year in which Bryce Young is the best QB on the field?”

Another added, “Daniel Jones has started for 6 seasons. SIX. He has to go down as one of the worst QBs of all time to play this much.”

One NFL enthusiast commented: “That flea flicker play is reason enough to permanently ban Daniel Jones from ever playing another down in the NFL.”

Another said: “Getting sacked on a flea flicker where you have TWO open WRs is such a Daniel Jones thing.”

“Daniel Jones getting 6 seasons as an NFL starting QB while you see other teams giving rookies 6 games before they bench them is what’s wrong with this league,” wrote one more.

The missed opportunities were glaring, with Jones failing to connect on a third-down flea flicker and taking an avoidable sack despite two open receivers. Scoring opportunities arrived twice for the Giants, only to miss a field goal and throw a pick in the red zone.

A deflected interception off a defender’s helmet added insult to injury, leaving fans wondering if Jones should even be starting.

Head coach Brian Daboll isn’t immune to criticism, either. Fans believe his loyalty to Jones is a liability, and calls for change are getting louder.

Daboll’s failure to bench Jones might be the nail in his own coffin, with fans saying, “Giants continuing to start Daniel Jones just to be able to tank and draft his replacement.”

For the Giants faithful, hope now lies in the upcoming NFL Draft, where they might finally find Jones’ replacement. If the Giants’ front office hears the fans, Jones’ time in New York might soon come to an unceremonious end — one that, if left to fans, would likely see him left behind in Germany.
