Will Howard 2025 NFL Draft Projection
Though there has been a lot of criticism directed toward Howard in recent days, many analysts are not labeling the performance the worst in Scouting Combine history. While he did unquestionably struggle at the combine, Howard has proven at the college level that he is not as inaccurate as was on display last week.
This past year, Howard had 4,010 passing yards, 42 total touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and an impressive completion percentage of 73.1%. In addition to this strong stat line, Howard led the Buckeyes to a National Championship victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
In PFSN’s latest 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft, Howard was selected in the fourth round, No. 115 overall, by the Miami Dolphins.
The Dolphins currently have Tua Tagovailoa signed long-term at the QB position, however, he has struggled with various injuries over the past few years. As a result, it would make sense for the organization to have strong QB depth at the position.
For Howard, learning from and playing behind a star in Tagovailoa could prove very positive for his development and growth in the National Football League going forward.
