On Sunday, rookie receivers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. attended Raymond James Stadium to support their former LSU teammate, Jayden Daniels. Daniels and the Washington Commanders were playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round, a game they won 23-20.
All three former LSU players were drafted in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Daniels was selected No. 2 overall by the Commanders, Nabers No. 6 overall by the New York Giants, and Thomas No. 23 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars. All three have had phenomenal seasons and have greatly exceeded expectations.

Daniels, Nabers, and Thomas’ 2024 NFL Campaigns
Daniels’ team is by far the most successful of the three LSU products. The Commanders have punched their ticket to a Divisional Round game against the Detroit Lions. In addition, Daniels is expected to win Offensive Rookie of the Year at the season’s end. For the 2024 regular season, he amassed 3,568 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, and only nine interceptions. He also had 891 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns as well.
Meanwhile, Nabers had a breakout rookie campaign for the Giants. He finished fifth in the league in receptions (109) and seventh in the league in receiving yards (1,204) in his rookie season. He also added seven receiving touchdowns while being one of the only bright spots for the Giants this year.
Finally, Thomas had a standout season and really exploded in the final month or so of the regular season, becoming one of the league’s best in the process. Over the last four games of the campaign, he had 33 receptions for 431 receiving yards and four touchdowns. This ridiculous stat line helped him finish third in receiving yards (1,282) and tied for sixth in touchdowns on the year (10).
