On Tuesday (Dec. 24), Shedeur was enjoying his passing drills with brother Shilo Sanders, who is also a draft prospect in 2025. That’s when the duo joked about their future.

Well, to some extent, this happens to be a big-time possibility, especially because the Giants are in the hunt for a franchise quarterback.

Nonetheless, there is still uncertainty around the No. 1 overall pick because Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward is also a hot prospect in the market right now.

When it comes to the Giants, Deion Sanders is a happy man. “Giants are not gonna give up their pick. They’re not gonna give up their pick. Shedeur’s gonna be the number one pick,” he told “The Pacman Jones Show” via the Mirror US.

Coach Prime Believes His Son Could Transform a Franchise Similar to Colorado

During the 2024 college football season, when the Buffs head coach was asked about his son’s potential landing spots, he mentioned some criteria. That includes climatic factors, fan base, and adaptability.

He was crucial in picking a suitable place for his son. But recently, he affirmed that the scenario is changing and Shedeur Sanders’ expectations are way ahead of him.

“I just want these guys happy man,” said Coach Prime on “The Rich Eisen Show” last week. “I just want them happy, in the right situation to soar. Unfortunately, they are so good that they are going to go to a team that was not that good the prior year. But that can all change with the announcement of their names. That can all change, quickly,” he added.

Currently, the Giants hold the No. 1 draft pick, and the New England Patriots sit at No. 2. Fans will get a clearer picture after the Week 17 games.
