The third selection of Round 1 in the 2021 NFL Draft order has been traded twice. In August 2019, Houston traded their 2021 first and second-round selections, a 2020 first-round selection, Julién Davenport and Johnson Bademosi to Miami for Laremy Tunsil, Kenny Stills, a 2021 sixth-round selection, and a 2020 fourth-round selection.
In March 2021, the Dolphins traded the third pick in the 2021 NFL Draft to the 49ers in exchange for a first-round (12) selection in 2021, first and third-round selections in 2022, and a 2023 first-round selection.

Firstly, the 49ers traded the pick to the Dolphins, along with pick 102 in the 2021 NFL Draft, and first-round selections in both 2022 and 2023. In return, the 49ers received the third overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Dolphins then traded the pick to the Eagles, along with pick 123 in the 2021 NFL Draft, and a first-round selection in 2022. In return, the Dolphins received the sixth overall selection and the 156th selection in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The No. 25 selection in tonight’s 2021 NFL Draft order was traded in October 2019. The Los Angeles Rams sent the 25th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft along with a first and fourth-round selection in 2020 to the Jacksonville Jaguars. In return, the Rams received cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Could we see more trades during the 2021 NFL Draft?
We have already seen eight selections change hands in the Round 1 order for the 2021 NFL Draft. However, there could yet be more action during the draft itself.
The first round of the 2020 NFL Draft saw a total of nine trades take place. Six of those trades took place ahead of the draft, with a further three trades taking place during the draft itself. Therefore, we could see more movement yet when it comes to the first-round order tonight.
