AJ Schulte releases his Top-10 overall rankings for the 2020 NFL Draft
Over the course of the past few weeks, our NFL Draft analyst Tony Pauline has used the live blog to release his positional rankings. This week it was AJ Schulte’s turn to get in on the action. Schulte used this week’s Live Blog to release his top-10 overall rankings:
- Chase Young, EDGE, Ohio State
- Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa
- Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
- Grant Delpit, S, LSU
- Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia
- Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn
- Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
- Joe Burrow, QB, LSU
- Ceedee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma
- Jeffrey Okudah, CB, Ohio State
What may stand out in Schulte’s rankings is the fact that Iowa tackle Tristan Wirfs is ranked ahead of Georgia’s Andrew Thomas. Here’s more from Schulte on why his board has the two tackles stacked this way:
I gave Wirfs the slight edge over Andrew Thomas (1 point differential) because I think he’s a better athlete, and I’ve seen Wirfs play left and right tackle at a high level, giving him more versatility.
