Two prominent programs could be on the search for new head coaches
Florida State is one of the more storied programs in all of college football, yet it’s been a rough few years for the Seminoles. Head coach Willie Taggart has not had the success many thought he would in Tallahassee, and could be on his way out. Here’s what Tony Pauline had to say on the situation:
I can’t imagine Willie Taggart keeping his Florida State job past Monday, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the decision to release him is announced tomorrow. I never would’ve imagined it could turn out this poorly for Taggart.
Taggart may not be the only head coach at a storied program who finds himself unemployed this season. Here’s what Pauline had to say on the situation in South Bend with Notre Dame and head coach Brian Kelly:
I also doubt Brian Kelly is Notre Dame’s head coach after this season. The team has faltered in big spots under Kelly, and after last week’s disastrous loss to Michigan, the Irish needed late-game heroics to beat a marginal Virginia Tech team.
