The Week 9 NFL coverage map is now available, but which games will FOX and CBS broadcast in each area of the country this week?

We have reached Week 9 of the NFL season, meaning the standings and storylines around the league are crystalizing. The coverage maps are provided by the group at 506Sports, who color code them to allow people to identify which games will be shown in Week 9. They do this for both of the major networks, with two maps for whoever has the doubleheader and a single map for the network that doesn’t.

The NFL coverage maps are correct as of Sunday morning but remain subject to change.

The CBS Week 9 slate is a bit of a mixed bag. There is every chance we could see three one-sided games, but the NFL rarely works like that. The best game of the week is between the Seahawks and the Ravens, so it rightly dominates the CBS single-game coverage map.

The Buccaneers’ game against the Texans could end up being one of the more entertaining, with both teams looking relatively evenly matched. That is the only game you could make a case for deserving more respect on this week’s coverage map.

The early FOX Week 9 NFL coverage map is pretty evenly split between the three games they are broadcasting. None of the three stands out as a must-watch, but they all could be reasonably even contests based on what we’ve seen.
