Colorado Buffaloes safety Ben Finneseth and teammate, NFL prospect Shilo Sanders, recently revealed that they were starting a podcast together. Though they did not explain or detail when the podcast would be released, they did seem serious about the partnership and the project.
Finneseth is a junior with the Buffaloes and had 12 total tackles (eight solo) this past season. Meanwhile, the son of Coach Prime had 67 total tackles (44 solo), one sack, and one forced fumble on the year and is hoping to be drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Shilo Sanders and Ben Finneseth’s Future Project
Both individuals explained how they were starting a podcast together.
“Buddy, your best content is yet to come, because me and Ben are going to team up,” Sanders said to Finneseth.
After that, Finneseth detailed the potential plans for the podcast.
“We got our podcast, our first episode, is coming out when?” he asked Sanders, to which he replied, “Soon.”
Sanders’ 2025 NFL Draft Projection
Sanders appears to be in contention to be drafted, but it’s not a guarantee at this time. While his brother Shedeur Sanders is almost certainly going to be drafted with a top selection, Shilo will likely be a late Day 3 pick, with the possibility of going undrafted.
In Pro Football Network’s recent 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft done by Jacob Infante, Shedeur was chosen No. 1 overall by the Las Vegas Raiders. Shilo, meanwhile, wasn’t selected until the seventh round. Yet, coincidentally, he too was also taken by the Raiders in this mock.
Over the past couple of seasons, Shilo has dealt with injuries that have taken him time to fully return to his skilled form. When healthy, he’s been an important member of the Buffaloes’ defensive unit and secondary, something that can translate to the professional level and an NFL franchise if given the opportunity.
While it remains to be definitively seen whether Shilo Sanders will be selected in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, he certainly has numerous different projects going on in his life, including a new podcast with his fellow Buffaloes teammate.
