Shedeur Sanders reveals plans to drop an EP while preparing for the NFL Draft, sharing the challenges of balancing music and football.

Deion Sanders’ sons Shilo and Shedeur Sanders have not limited themselves just to the football field. Both have previously walked the ramp at Paris Fashion Week and have also indulged in music careers.

Shedeur dropped his first rap song, “Perfect Timing,” last year in May. Meanwhile, just on Friday, Shilo dropped his first single, “Hate 2 Love,” which has been trending well. The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback is hoping to make time to deliver a passion project.

Shedeur Sanders Talks Music, Challenges of Releasing an EP Amid NFL Prep

As Shedeur prepares for the upcoming NFL Draft, he’s also opening up about a passion project he’s been working on behind the scenes — his own music EP. In a recent conversation with his brother Deion Sanders Jr. on his “2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders” podcast, the quarterback shared the challenges he has to overcome before releasing his EP.

“I’m gonna drop an EP; I’m gonna drop an EP,” Shedeur said. “But you know, bro, I gotta go through a lot of stuff together and clear it up because I don’t ever want to be in a bad way. So it’s like you got to get, you know, the producers, the people that made the beats, people that mix and master the song — like, it’s a lot of stuff that comes with it.”

Unlike Shilo, who has been making waves with his music, Shedeur noted that his process is more complex for him.

“That’s why it’s like Sh’s different, ’cause he could just make his songs by himself, get no clearance from nobody ’cause he made everything. But it just takes more time for me to actually do it, then, you know, make sure we have the right everything on there, and there’s nothing really too bad. So it’s more of a process, bro,” Shedeur explained.

Sanders’ 2025 NFL Draft Order Set: Which Team Could Pick the CU QB?

The NFL completed its regular season schedule last week, and with that, the 2025 NFL Draft order has also seen multiple changes, especially with some surprising results that saw the New England Patriots secure a surprising win against the Buffalo Bills, leading them to be dropped in the order.

The Tennessee Titans hold the first overall pick, followed by the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Patriots, and Jacksonville Jaguars, rounding up the top five picks in order.

Among these teams, assuming the Titans pick Travis Hunter first overall, a possible outcome includes the Giants drafting Sanders third, while Cam Ward gets drafted second by the Cleveland Browns.

The reason for this could be that the Titans may still view Will Levis as their franchise quarterback. Adding a two-way player like Hunter could be more advantageous. Secondly, the buzz surrounding Sanders being the best quarterback in the draft has faded following his struggles in the Alamo Bowl. Ward is now seen as the top QB in the draft, thereby leading to the CU QB getting drafted third.
