Cam Ward Signs a New Sponsorship Deal Before 2025 NFL Draft

The Hurricanes passer reportedly inked a deal with New Era. A promotional video was released on his social media platforms and the company’s Instagram. In the clip, he can be seen rocking their gear, which had the New Era logo. It is a testament to his soaring brand value in the NFL circle and his individual achievement.

“Miami quarterback and top 2025 NFL draft prospect Cam Ward has signed a sponsorship deal with New Era. Will be New Era’s sole spokesperson for the upcoming NFL draft,” Pete Nakos wrote on X. Apart from this, he enjoys multiple partnerships but the one that stands out is the deal with Adidas that he signed in October last year.

When it comes to his on-field presence, the 22-year-old gunslinger appeared at the East-West Shrine Bowl this week. However, he did not participate in the game physically. He was an interview-only prospect and seems to have interacted with media and NFL scouts. This week was quite special since he also won the Manning Award, the first ever for a Miami QB.

“Hard work can do it, no matter what your journey is,” Ward said per CBS. “You’ve got to work. You’ve got to work hard, put one foot in front of the other, then just try to go make plays when you get on the field. I wish I had more time in Miami to be able to win a championship, whether it’s ACC or national. At the end of the day, I believe everything happens for a reason.”

“And the teammates that I was surrounded by this year are the best group of teammates I’ve had, off the field more than on the field. The camaraderie we had, whether it was in the hotel or the locker room, that’s the thing I’m going to miss the most,” he added.

NFL legend Archie Manning also praised the youngster on his latest achievement and wished him luck as he transitions into the pro league.
