Aaron Rodgers and media rumors? Name a more iconic duo. The NFL offseason is barely getting started, and there’s already buzz about the four-time MVP possibly packing his bags again. This time, an AFC South team is being floated as a surprise destination, presumably as the last of Rodgers’ two-decade-long NFL journey.
Rodgers has earned the right to end his career on his terms, but where might that take him?
Mina Kimes Sees Aaron Rodgers as a Perfect Fit for the Tennessee Titans
Rodgers in Nashville? ESPN’s Mina Kimes sees the vision. On NFL Live, she floated the Tennessee Titans as a possible landing spot, saying, “I don’t think they will draft a quarterback. I do think they’re gonna go the veteran route.”
Rodgers fits that mold, arguably better than any other (available) quarterback.
The Titans just wrapped up a brutal 3-14 season, hired former Chiefs assistant general manager Mike Borgonzi, and now hold the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. But Kimes doesn’t see them taking a rookie passer. Instead, she believes they’ll prioritize building the roster, drafting a blue-chip talent elsewhere, and bringing in a proven veteran — like Rodgers.
The 2025 NFL Draft might make that decision easier. While Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward are projected to be early picks, neither are considered the caliber of prospects that headlined last year’s draft. Meanwhile, corner/receiver Travis Hunter is a unique talent that has been labeled “generational” by his biggest fans, and Penn State edge rusher is a high-level talent to boost the pass rush.
Both have made strong arguments to be the No. 1 pick, pushing Tennessee away from a rookie quarterback.

“I do think that they’re gonna go the veteran route, like his style of play, that style of offense does mesh… because your priority now is to address the roster,” Kimes explained, highlighting how Rodgers could step into Brian Callahan’s system and keep the Titans competitive.
“If Aaron Rodgers is playing there, it’s not more than for a year,” she added. This opens the door for Tennessee to find its face of the franchise with a better supporting cast and (potentially) an improved cast of characters under center.
Rodgers, 41, put up solid numbers last season with the Jets (3,897 yards, 28 TDs, 11 INTs), but his future in New York is shaky. New head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed the team is evaluating their options at QB, making Rodgers’ exit a real possibility.
