‘Deion Sanders Is Made for the NFL’ – Analyst Drops Bold Statement on Coach Prime and Son Shedeur’s Future After Colorado

    Published on

NFL analyst Chris Simms makes bold claims about Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders' potential future.

The Deion Sanders hype at Colorado is unmatched. At the start of his first season with the Buffaloes, Coach Prime received massive support from fans and various celebrities like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and others.

While the 2023 season ended with a disappointing 4-8 record, the Colorado coach made every effort possible to change things around this season. The Buffaloes are currently 6-2 and have successfully clinched enough victories to secure a bowl game.

While Coach Prime’s success with a program like Colorado is commendable, many analysts assume that his time with the Buffaloes is limited. With his sons Shedeur and Shilo Sanders moving onto the next step of their careers after this season and entering the 2025 NFL Draft, it’s speculated that the Colorado head coach will also join an NFL team and leave college football behind with his sons.

Chris Simms Says Deion Sanders Is Made To Be an NFL Head Coach

Talking about the possibility on “The Dan Patrick Show,” analyst Chris Simms made a bold statement about Deion Sanders’ future at Colorado:

“I hadn’t thought about it as a package deal. I think Deion Sanders is more made for the NFL than for college football. That would be my first assessment, right? Deion doesn’t want to recruit and do that stuff. Deion wants to lead. He wants to get the guys ready. He wants to walk into the meeting room and go, wait. We can’t do this. That’s stupid, stupidness.

“Let’s do that, that, and that, and then you guys figure out how to do all that. But I just watched the film and Overseer, and I know we got to do that to win the game. That’s what I think he is, and that’s what many good NFL coaches are like.

“You listen to my dad and the heydays of Bill Parcells. He wasn’t calling the defense or the offense, but as he would say, he’d walk into the meeting room and go, we can’t run this play, we can’t run this play, run this play, this play. I like this play. Blah, blah, blah. I’m out. Let me go check on the defense. And I feel like Deion Sanders is made for NFL head coach that way.”

Sanders Makes Himself at Home With Customised Locker Room Renovation

While Deion Sanders’ NFL move remains a topic of discussion, the Colorado coach has always reaffirmed to fans and recruits his long-term plans to stay in Boulder and continue building the program.

Most recently, Coach Prime caught fans attention as he showed off his shiny new locker room and reeked his personality and aura.

The locker room, with its black and gold branding, glass doors, and leather sofas, reflects Sanders’ cool and collected style.
