In the last few years, Shedeur Sanders has become one of the most talked-about players in college football.
Shedeur and his dad, Deion Sanders, came to Colorado two years ago and turned the program upside down, finishing the 2024 season with an impressive 9-4 record.
While the Colorado star is projected to be a top-10 draft pick, a recent report by an NFL insider revealed some coaches are not happy with Shedeur’s attitude.

Fans React As Shedeur Sanders Reportedly Draws Flak From NFL Coaches
NFL reporter Josina Anderson, who was present at the 2025 NFL Combine, recently shared that she was disappointed to hear that an NFL quarterbacks coach from a team drafting in the top 7 called Shedeur Sanders “brash” and “arrogant” after his team interviews.
Anderson pointed out that her assessment of Shedeur’s demeanor was completely different from the QB coach’s. In her opinion, the Colorado star was cordial, polite, witty, and thoughtful and even went out of his way to greet media personnel, even if they weren’t the most recognizable.
She also mentioned, according to the source, that the NFL coach had a problem with “the culture” of players who had broad fame and financial success before entering the league.
I am disappointed to hear that a quarterbacks coach from a team drafting in the top 7 referred to Shedeur Sanders as coming off “brash” and “arrogant” in his team interview and making his assessment known to a number of people, per source. Reacting to this news, one fan commented, “I mean, we watched it. His lack of humility was astonishing in the press conference. Now, if your contention is, he acted differently than that elsewhere, fine, but his public media press conference, I don’t think it’s arguable that he was anything other than brash and arrogant.”
“Dude was flexing his AP on the student section at ASU while Colorado was on its way to a 4-8 season. He is arrogant. He wouldn’t even be discussed as a first-round pick if it wasn’t for him being Prime’s son. I’m not a buyer of the Sanders hype. I’d take Cam Ward or Jaxon Dart over him,” another fan added.
Another fan pointed out, “Confidence and arrogance are not the same thing. Anyone making evaluations should know the difference.”
“It’s lying season for front offices, so maybe the intent is on purpose to make him drop in the draft so a team can have him,” another fan speculated.
“Black confidence exudes power. Keep dominating, Shedeur. Nothing can stand in your way of entering the league, no matter the obstacles they throw at you,” another fan echoed their support.
The 2025 NFL Draft is set to take place from April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
