While Phoenix Suns star Royce O’Neale hopes to help his team win a ring on the court, his fianceé Paige Hurd gets to rock one off it.
The NBA star is now engaged to actress Paige Hurd.
According to People.com, the couple enjoyed a romantic Valentine’s Day weekend at the Viceroy Riviera, culminating in an intimate candle-lit dinner with rose petals when they got engaged.
The two met last year, when Hurd had sworn off dating. Fast-forward to now, and she is engaged to O’Neale, who reportedly developed a crush on her after seeing her on television and in movies.

Who Is Paige Hurd?
Hurd, a 32-year-old Dallas native, experienced a successful career in Hollywood, taking on several different roles.
She played a leading role in Tyler Perry’s “The Oval,” and “Power Book II: Ghost,” with a recurring role on “Hawaii Five-0.”
She also starred as Tasha in “Everybody Hates Chris,” the series loosely based on comedian Chris Rock’s upbringing, and has also cameoed on programs like “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” and “The George Lopez Show.”
Elsewhere, she has starred in films like “Dr. Suess’ Cat in the Hat,” and “Cradle 2 the Grave,” alongside her godfather, the now-deceased rapper DMX, and action star Jet Li. She also starred in “Beauty Shop” alongside Queen Latifah.
Additionally, Hurd has appeared in several television movies, including Lifetime’s “Girl in the Garage” and the live-action Ben 10 movie “Ben 10: Race Against Time.”
Royce O’Neale in the NBA
O’Neale, who has played 10 seasons of professional basketball, eight in the NBA and two overseas, has had a solid career in the NBA. He played for the Brooklyn Nets and the Utah Jazz before landing with the Phoenix Suns alongside Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.
O’Neale began his NBA career with the Jazz after playing for their 2017 Summer League team. He eventually became a solid rotational player and had some success in the NBA Playoffs.
He was traded to Brooklyn in the 2022 offseason where he experienced his best season as a pro. He averaged 8.8 points per game and 3.7 rebounds, making almost 39% of his 3-pointers.
Now he is in Phoenix, hoping to help his 29-32 Suns make the postseason. The Suns are currently in the 10th spot in the Western Conference.
