Stephen Curry Makes Feelings Clear on Draymond Green Taking His 25K Points Milestone Game Ball Home

Stephen Curry reached a major milestone when he crossed the 25,000-point mark during the Golden State Warriors’ victory over the Detroit Pistons. He became the 26th player in NBA history to reach the mark — and he’s far from done climbing the list.

Longtime teammate Draymond Green wasted no time grabbing Curry’s game ball after the achievement. But according to Curry, there’s no bad blood about it.

Stephen Curry Reveals Draymond Green’s Memorabilia Collection

During his postgame press conference, Curry told reporters that Green has a habit of collecting memorabilia — not just from him, but from other teammates as well.

“Yeah, (Green)’s gonna keep it for me. I heard he’s got a little bit of (Kevin Durant)’s memorabilia … He’s just collecting stuff for all of us. I’ll come back and get it eventually,” Curry said, per 95.7 The Game.

Curry and Green have been teammates since 2012, winning multiple championships and making multiple All-Star appearances together. Their partnership has been a cornerstone of one of the most successful teams in NBA history.

Given their history, it’s no surprise that Green likes to keep mementos of their success in Golden State. While there’s no telling exactly how much Curry-related memorabilia Green has collected, it’s probably a lot.

It’s also interesting that Green has memorabilia from his time playing with Durant, considering their well-documented rocky relationship during that era. However, it seems that they’ve put any past issues behind them, and Green prefers to remember the good times they had together.

At the same time, Green’s collection is a reminder that he appreciates the historic run he and his teammates have shared for over a decade. He’s not taking it for granted, and he understands the significance of these moments.

Curry, for his part, is a good sport about letting Green hold onto the ball — though he’ll likely want it back at some point as a lasting symbol of his legendary career.

While neither Curry nor Green are in their 20s anymore, they’ve helped keep the Warriors competitive. And with an uncertain future ahead, this might not be the last time Green snags a piece of history from one of his teammates.
