The Spurs announced that Wembanyama has a diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder, which is a very serious injury. With this diagnosis, Wembanyama will miss the remainder of the year.
The Spurs explained in their injury update that this diagnosis was discovered shortly after Wembanyama returned from San Francisco after the All-Star festivities.
