Golden State Warriors fans have grown tense after hearing the latest news regarding Stephen Curry. It turns out that Curry now has a second job and might be looking at his future beyond the NBA.
Before becoming an NBA superstar, Curry attended Davidson College from 2006-2009. He was a relatively unknown prospect coming out of high school and has always shown gratitude toward Davidson. Recent reports revealed that Curry accepted a new position with the university.
Since it is always interesting to hear about what NBA players do outside the court, details regarding his new job must be of interest for fans who want to learn more about Curry’s new role.
Stephen Curry Will Join Davidson as the AGM for Basketball Programs
Considering that Curry has found an incredible amount of success through basketball, it is really no surprise that he was offered the position of becoming the assistant general manager for basketball programs with Davidson. However, it was quite stunning when Shams Charania reported that Curry accepted the position.

Fans certainly felt that way and wondered if it was even possible for someone like Curry to manage having two jobs at the same time. Many speculated that this was a sign Curry might retire soon. Fans reacted with comments like, “Bro is retiring next year” and “How does he have time?”
While Curry and several other stars have brought the NBA a great deal of success, fans always find it difficult to let them go.
Since Curry has always found a way to get the job done, he will likely be able to do the same at Davidson. Although he is the assistant GM for Davidson basketball, the majority of his time and effort will still be spent with the Golden State Warriors.
Curry is already 36 years old and could even retire as soon as next season if he felt the need to do so. After all, he has already accomplished more than what the majority of the league could even dream of doing.
However, he has aged just fine, averaging 24.5 points per game while shooting just under 40% from 3, so there is no rush to leave anytime soon. Moreover, going back to the place where he began is also poetic in nature.
