‘Exchanging Championship Luck’ – NBA Fans Manifest as Stephen Curry, Draymond Green Hang Out With Eagles QB Jalen Hurts

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green turned 35 on March 4. To celebrate, he threw a party that featured some of the biggest names from both the NFL and NBA. However, the main highlight of the night was the meeting between Warriors legend Stephen Curry and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

The surprise link-up of the Warriors duo hanging out with Philadelphia’s QB caught the attention of fans. With Curry and the Warriors pushing for a deep playoff run, and Hurts fresh off leading the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory, fans couldn’t help but joke about them exchanging championship luck.

Fans Go Wild Over Stephen Curry-Jalen Hurts Meetup

A video posted by ML Football on X showed Hurts and Curry together at the party, sparking a wave of reactions from fans.

“TRENDING: #Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts hanging out with #NBA legend Stephen Curry at Draymond Green’s birthday party.”

Many were excited to see two champions in the same room, with one fan saying, “Just dropping some championship knowledge to each other. Exchanging some championship luck.”

Another fan, thrilled by the crossover, wrote, “My favorite NFL and NBA team hanging together.”

The Warriors, led by Curry, are pushing hard for the playoffs with a 43-28 record. They’ve won eight of their last 10 games and are in a strong position for the championship.

Meanwhile, Hurts’ Eagles had an outstanding 2024 NFL season, finishing with a 14-3 record, placing them first in the NFC East. They carried this momentum into the postseason, clinching a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, securing their second Super Bowl title.

Clearly, it was a meeting of two heavyweights in their respective sports. One fan summed it up perfectly, writing, “Champs meet champs.”

Another even called it a legendary link-up, saying, “My 2 GOATs bonding.”

However, not everyone was on board with the celebration. Some took the chance to throw jabs, with one user commenting, “Bum should not be in the same room as legend Curry.”

In any case, the meetup of stars from two of the biggest sports leagues was a treat for fans. Hurts led his team to Super Bowl glory, while Curry’s job is far from done. Former Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins has called Curry the most lethal player in the playoffs, a point he proved recently with his 56-point stunner against the Orlando Magic.

However, the road to the playoffs is challenging for the Warriors. The Western Conference as a whole is a huge challenge to overcome, while the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers are also playing extremely well after trading for Luka Dončić.

All in all, Curry must bring his best to help Golden State push through the playoffs and claim the NBA title, a task that looks daunting at the moment.
