The Los Angeles Lakers have been in the headlines recently following a massive trade to acquire Luka Dončić from the Dallas Mavericks.
But now, the team’s president and controlling owner, Jeanie Buss, is making some news of her own after explaining her living situation with husband Jay Mohr.
Jeanie Buss Explains the Situation
Buss appeared on “In Depth” with Graham Bensinger and discussed her living situation with Mohr, whom she has been married to since 2023.

“We obviously spent time with you and Jay [Mohr] yesterday, so explain the living situation setup,” Bensinger asks with a smile on his face.
“OK, everybody is gonna want to live exactly the same way,” Buss begins.

“It does sound kind of amazing,” Bensinger interjects.
Buss: “Right now we live in a building that has three units. So, I live on the top floor and Jay lives on the first floor and so there’s a couple that live in between us. So, we live together, we’re at the same address, except I’m Unit 3 and he’s Unit 1.
“We don’t really wanna change anything because I like my space and I have my schedule and he has his space and he has his schedule… I can take the elevator down in my slippers and hang out a little bit and go back up. I would recommend it to any couple that feels the same way,” Buss finished.
The video then cuts to Mohr.
“‘It’s like, alright, I’m gonna go upstairs,’ like, OK,” Mohr said, explaining an interaction he’d have with Buss.
“We see each other every morning, every afternoon, and every night. When you’re home alone in your bed, it’s like, guys are gross, like, we just make sounds, like we sweat, the sheets get all wrinkly and weird, it’s like just let her sleep like a princess or a Barbie still in the box, like she doesn’t need to be subjected to me and my, like, wrestling sweatpants belching,” Mohr finished.
Who Is Jay Mohr?
Mohr is a 54-year-old actor, comedian, and radio host. He was a cast member of “Saturday Night Live” from 1993 to 1995.
He’s appeared in numerous films, including “Jerry Maguire,” “Picture Perfect,” “Small Soldiers,” “200 Cigarettes,” “Even Money,” and more.
Mohr has also been featured in numerous television shows, such as “Family Guy,” Scrubs,” “CSI: Miami,” “The Simpsons,” and many more.
He also hosted a podcast and sports radio show.
Mohr began dating Buss in 2017. They were engaged in December 2022 and were married on Sept. 3, 2023.
