    For a lot of sports fans, the NBA season truly kicks off with All-Star weekend. With the football season over and the NBA regular season kicking off into second gear, it’s the perfect time for fans to tune into basketball. All-Star weekend is the best place to get things started.

    Between the showcase for first- and second-year players in the Rising Star games, the mainstream crossover in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, the All-Star Game itself, and the multiple contests, the weekend promises maximum entertainment. But when and where can you view the thrills and spills?

    What Time Does All-Star Saturday Night Begin?

    NBA All-Star Practice and Media Day

    The day starts with a special media availability for the players in town for the weekend. Between the All-Star Game, the 3-Point Contest, the Slam Dunk Contest, and the Skills Challenge, it makes for an elite collection of the game’s best.

    All four teams set to take part in the newly revamped All-Star format will hit the practice court, as well as speak to the media, and it kicks off at 2 p.m. ET on NBA TV.

    NBA HBCU Classic

    An annual tradition since 2022, the HBCU Classic sees two prominent HBCU schools square off for a basketball matchup. This year, it is the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers men’s basketball program taking on the Golden Tigers from Tuskegee University.

    Tip-off is at 5 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBA TV.

    Adam Silver’s Press Conference

    Every year, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver holds a press conference to discuss all things related to the sport and take questions from the media, with the session broadcasted on NBA TV at 7 p.m. ET.

    All-Star Saturday Night

    The main event for All-Star Saturday night kicks off at 8 p.m. ET. The event starts with the Skills Challenge before moving on to the Slam Dunk Contest and wrapping up with the 3-Point Contest.

    This year, a loaded slate of players in all three events will make for an unforgettable evening. While it will all be available to watch on NBA TV, fans preferring a more traditional method of consuming their sports can also find it on TNT and TruTV.
