‘Franchise in Shambles’ – Fans Brutally Troll Mavericks As AI Generated Video of Anthony Davis Goes Viral

The Dallas Mavericks’ season was already spiraling. The Anthony Davis injury was a huge setback for the Mavs, and are quickly moving off the rails. The latest embarrassment?

An AI-generated Jumbotron video featuring Anthony Davis—except this wasn’t just any video. One scene showed AD pointing pistols at his own head. Yikes. Fans on Twitter wasted no time ripping the Mavs apart, calling it “on brand” for the franchise’s recent stretch of disasters. And honestly, it’s hard to argue.

Fans Rip Mavs Apart After Bizarre Anthony Davis Video

If you thought things couldn’t get worse for Dallas, think again. The AI-generated hype video meant to energize the crowd ended up being pure nightmare fuel.

After seeing the botches in the clip, the fans absolutely lost it. One fan tweeted, “Hold on, the Mavs put out an AI-generated music video that features a scene where AD points pistols at his own head. Lmaooo.”

Well, let’s be honest for a minute. The clip of Davis pointing pistols to his own head with Mavs flag on his hands, might be an AI blunder, but it is quite ironic, right?

Another fan stated the status of the Mavs lately, “Franchise in SHAMBLES.”

And the hits kept coming: “It’s now at the point where I wonder if it’s an accident or they just get off on embarrassing themselves.”

It’s been a brutal year for the Mavs, and this just poured fuel on the fire. Ever since shipping out Luka Dončić, Dallas has been cursed with injuries, bad luck, and now, a Jumbotron fail that will live in infamy.

Fans were already furious at GM Nico Harrison for how the season has gone, and this viral video only added to the chaos.

The Nightmare Season Continues For Dallas

If the Mavs were hoping to put this AI disaster behind them with some wins, that’s not looking likely either. After shipping Dončić to the Lakers, the team was banking on Davis leading them into the playoffs. Instead, AD got injured in his first game. Kyrie Irving tore his ACL. Daniel Gafford is out. And now, Dallas is barely holding onto the 10th seed at 33-36.

Davis, at least, is trying to return before the season ends. He was recently sent to the G League to get some reps in, and Dallas recalled him alongside Jaden Hardy. But at this point, even if AD gets back on the floor, will it even matter?

With the Mavs in a freefall, many are wondering if trading Dončić was the ultimate curse. One thing is certain—if this season wasn’t rock bottom already, that AI video might’ve just sealed the deal.
