Stephen Curry couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate his 37th birthday. Just a day before his big day, the Golden State Warriors star made history by becoming the first player to reach 4,000 career 3-pointers. He hit the milestone in a commanding 130-104 win over the Sacramento Kings on March 13, adding another feat to his already legendary career.
While the basketball world marveled at his latest achievement, his biggest fan — his wife, Ayesha Curry — made sure his birthday was just as special off the court.

Ayesha took to Instagram to share her love and admiration for her husband, posting a heartfelt message alongside a series of personal moments.
“Happy Birthday to my baby @stephencurry30. The most incredible energy, vibe, human of all time. You’re simply THE BEST. I can’t wait to see what this next trip around the sun has in store. Along with her touching words, Ayesha shared several photos of Stephen in full relaxation mode. One showed him lounging on the beach, while another captured him playing golf—clearly enjoying some well-earned downtime.
When Stephen stepped onto the court against the Kings, he needed just two more 3-pointers to reach 4,000 — and he wasted no time.
His first 3-pointer of the night came in the opening quarter, and with 8:19 left in the third, he hit the historic 4,000th shot — assisted by Moses Moody. The Chase Center erupted in celebration as Stephen added another record to his résumé.
Following the game, Stephen reflected on the achievement, expressing gratitude for the journey.
“I could feel the energy and the buzz from the beginning of the game after I made my first 3, even the second one I shot and missed it was an adrenaline rush, and they were with me every moment of the game tonight,” Stephen said, according to Janie McCauley of The Associated Press.
“When that second one went in, I knew there was a lot of game left, so I tried to not get too ahead of myself. But it was a special moment to feel that energy and allow them (the crowd) to enjoy that milestone and accomplishment with me.”
The Warriors’ win streak, now at six games, has been fueled by Stephen’s brilliance. This milestone adds to his extensive list of records, including the most 3-pointers in both regular-season and playoff history. His influence has transformed the game, making the 3-point shot a central strategy for teams across the league.
For Stephen, there couldn’t have been a better way to start his birthday celebrations — breaking records on the court and feeling the love off it.
