‘We’re In This B***h’ — When Tyler Reddick Went Explosive After Strategic Last-Lap Victory at Homestead 2024

23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick left no doubt about his excitement after a thrilling strategic victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2024. In one of the most dramatic Playoff races of the season, Reddick made a clutch pass out of Turn 4 on the last lap to claim his first NASCAR Cup Series victory at Homestead. Fans witnessed an electric finish, with three drivers leading in the final three laps.

Reddick’s victory wasn’t just last-minute luck or raw speed — it was a well-calculated strategy by his 23XI Racing team. As the race reached its final laps, his team opted for an aggressive pit strategy, allowing him to chase down the leaders.

Fans Shocked by Tyler Reddick’s Explosive Celebration

Reddick secured his spot in NASCAR’s Championship Four at the Phoenix Raceway season finale with the win. Overcome with emotion, he shouted over the radio:

    “F**k yeah! We’re In This B***h.”

    One fan reacted:

“Probably the most I’ve heard Tyler cuss. But I was right there with him.”

Another fan reminisced about the iconic race, tweeting:

“Throwback to the last time the Cup Series raced at Homestead-Miami Speedway when we were blessed with an INCREDIBLE RACE.”

Speaking to Road & Track after the race, Reddick reflected on his race strategy:

“I just need to not wreck on the restart. That was the biggest thing. It wasn’t a great restart for me in Stage 2, but we were doing what we needed to again. We had speed, we got our way to the front, we got those stage points… We were doing what we needed to do. Unfortunately, pit road was kind of a trouble spot for us throughout the day, but we had time to overcome it and get back to the front.”

After falling to the back half of the top five following a pit stop, Reddick’s team adjusted their strategy, stopping relatively late to gain a tire advantage over his competitors. With fresher tires and a daring approach, Reddick executed a perfect last-lap move to clinch the dramatic victory.

In a post-race interview with Homestead-Miami Speedway, Reddick said:

“We did what it took to win this race, and we’re fighting for a championship. I couldn’t believe it (the pass). I just knew I needed to get even with him on his right-side door, and he raced me clean, and I appreciate it. I’m just really, really excited to have a shot at the championship.”
