Trackhouse Racing owner Justin Marks posted a message on X expressing his pride in his team’s handling of all the challenges thrown at them in the last week. Following a challenging first week of the 2025 NASCAR series, starting with the Daytona 500, Marks claimed that someone told him Trackhouse had had a “tough week.”
In the post, he said, “Someone told me last night man that was a tough week for Trackhouse. I disagree. I think it was the finest hour in the history of our company.”
Marks added, “I saw people come together as a TEAM with enthusiasm, positivity, grind, and execution. We had a lot of cars to fix and it wasn’t one team or another doing the work, it was all of Trackhouse working together.
“We had almost 100 guests and the partnership team executed flawlessly to create a fantastic experience for them. With so many story lines and sponsor messages, the social/digital and creative teams knocked it out of the park.”

Trackhouse made NASCAR history after they fielded four cars with drivers from four different countries in the Daytona 500. Their diverse lineup included Ross Chastain from the United States (finished ninth), Daniel Suárez from Mexico (13th), Shane van Gisbergen from New Zealand (33rd), and Hélio Castroneves from Brazil, who finished the race in 39th position.
Marks said, “All 4 racecars showed great speed. SVG proved how quick of a study he can be getting to the front early. What we threw at Helio was probably one of the toughest things a driver can do. And he handled the adversity with a huge smile and graciousness.
“Ross showed his talent per usual and Daniel, with the company on his shoulders late, took the moment and fought hard for his team with the grace and grind of a professional.”
He went on to add, “I am so proud of our company this morning and proud to be a fan of Trackhouse.”
Despite what may have initially looked like a challenging year for the racing team, following the recent news of part owner and world-famous singer Pitbull ending his ownership of the team. Pitbull was part of the team since its inception in 2021 but this year decided to part ways. No specific reason was made public about his departure.
However, with his recent post, Marks has put doubts about struggling behind him and expressed his pride for his team and their continuous efforts towards growth and teamwork.
