Denny Hamlin’s No. 11 Unsponsored for Homestead-Miami? Full Entry List for the Straight Talk Wireless 400

The NASCAR Cup Series is set to take on the Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2025, and the entry list for the race has now been revealed. While most of the list shared on X by Bob Pockrass looked standard, Denny Hamlin’s entry stood out for one key reason.

As of now, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver is set to run without a sponsor in Miami.

No Sponsor in Miami for Denny Hamlin

For the first time in NASCAR’s charter system history, all 36 entries for the Straight Talk Wireless 400 will feature a full-time competitor. But for Hamlin, it will be an “empty run,” as he won’t have a primary sponsor for the race.

Before the 2025 season, the JGR driver signed deals with three different sponsors, each covering specific races.

National Debt Relief signed a one-race sponsorship deal with Hamlin, exclusively for the season-opening Daytona 500. Meanwhile, the West Coast convenience store chain “ampm” has a two-race sponsorship deal with the 44-year-old.

Los Angeles-based family-owned and operated bakery “King’s Hawaiian” has the longest deal with Hamlin, lasting for four races. They will feature on Hamlin’s car in Atlanta in June, Daytona in August, Bristol in September, and Martinsville in October.

Aside from Hamlin, Chris Buescher of RFK Racing is the only other full-time driver without a sponsor for the race.

Additionally, JJ Yeley of the NY Racing Team will be the only open entry, driving the No. 44 Chevrolet under crew chief Jay Guy. Below is the full entry list for the upcoming race in Miami.

The upcoming race will be NASCAR’s second consecutive event on a 1.5-mile track and the second time this season that all three series will race at the same venue.

Originally opening in 1993, Tony Stewart won the inaugural race at Homestead-Miami before the track became a staple on the NASCAR schedule.

From 2002 to 2019, the Straight Talk Wireless 400 served as the championship finale before being moved earlier in the season. Tyler Reddick of 23XI Racing is the defending race winner, having taken a crucial victory last year to secure a spot in the Championship 4 for the first time in his career.

However, defending his title won’t be easy. Known for its progressive banking of 18-20 degrees, Homestead-Miami provides a challenging track for drivers, delivering exciting races year after year.

The 2025 Straight Talk Wireless 400 is set for Sunday, March 23, with the green flag dropping at 3 p.m. ET. Fox Sports 1 will provide live TV coverage, while MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will handle radio coverage.
