After a nail-biting thriller in Phoenix, NASCAR returns to action this weekend at the Speedway Las Vegas, and all eyes are yet again on Christopher Bell, who is looking in red-hot form, eyeing his fourth consecutive cup race victory of this season.
Alongside the Oklahoma-based driver is Tyler Reddick, who is keen on ending Bell’s winning streak while also passing him and NASCAR standings leader William Byron. With so many narratives popping up, the big question is, who will ultimately win the race at the Pennzoil 400?
Well, the odds are clearly in favor of the trio of Bell, Reddick, and, of course, one-time stage winner Kyle Larson. However, before diving into the odds for the upcoming weekend, here’s an overview of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
What To Expect at the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway?
The 2025 Pennzoil 400, scheduled for March 16, 2025, is the fifth race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule. It will be 267 laps around the 1.5-mile asphalt intermediate speedway, registering approximately 400.5 miles.
Las Vegas Motor Speedway, located approximately 15 miles northeast of the Las Vegas Strip, is a 1,200-acre complex with several racing tracks, including one for Formula 1. But, NASCAR’s relationship with Vegas goes beyond the 2000s, as the speedway has been a part of the NASCAR schedule since it welcomed its inaugural Cup Series race in 1998.
The green flags will wave at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time, with Mike Joy, Clint Bowyer, and two-time Las Vegas race winner Kevin Harvick in the booth.
