The NASCAR Cup Series race at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) delivered some high-intensity racing showcasing drivers’ skills, but one driver stood out, according to Brad Keselowski: Chris Buescher.
The RFK Racing driver had an incredible run finishing seventh, earning praise from his team co-owner and fellow driver. After the race, Keselowski made his thoughts clear with a simple yet powerful six-word message in a tweet.

Buescher, also known by the nickname “The Factory,” piloted his No. 17 RFK Racing Ford Mustang to a seventh-place finish at COTA from his starting position of 24th, proving once again that he is one of NASCAR’s top road-course drivers.
Throughout the race, he showed excellent control, precise braking, and strategic overtaking. While he did not get to see the checkered flag first, his strong performance was enough to grab the attention of teammate and fans alike.
Keselowski’s statement wasn’t just empty praise. Over the last couple of years, Buescher has consistently performed well in road courses, with 13 top-10 and four top-five finishes in 16 races since the start of 2022. While Buescher shined at COTA, Keselowski himself had a tougher day behind the wheel of the No. 6 Ford. Unlike his teammate, he struggled to keep pace with the frontrunners and finished outside the top 10 due to his cool suit failing early into the race. He visited the infield care centre to receive some IV fluids after the race and has recovered swiftly.

Since becoming a co-owner of the team, Keselowski has worked hard to elevate RFK Racing to a competitive level. With Buescher’s impressive road-course skills and the team’s continued improvement, it’s clear that RFK Racing is on an upward trajectory. With Keselowski’s backing and a strong team behind him, Buescher could soon find himself in victory lane.
