Brad Keselowski had a humorous response after Austin Dillon went on a heated radio rant during the Las Vegas race. Instead of escalating tensions, Keselowski took a lighthearted approach when responding to a video clip on X, showing Dillon’s frustration over the airwaves.
Brad Keselowski Caught in Austin Dillon’s Rant
During the NASCAR Cup Series race in Las Vegas, Dillon voiced his frustration over the team radio after an on-track incident. His car sustained damage to both the front and rear, and in the heat of the moment, he appeared to believe that Keselowski had slammed into him from behind.
Dillon let loose over the radio:
“F****** Brad! Hit the f****** brake pedal, you idiot! Coming to you guys. That’s what you get. You run with the dogs, you get fleas, boys.”
However, Keselowski was not involved in the incident that damaged Dillon’s car. In the onboard cam footage, Keselowski is clearly seen driving past Dillon on the outside, proving he was not the cause.
Rather than engage in a war of words, Keselowski responded with humor. He posted a GIF of a confused John Travolta looking around a room, captioning it: “Me- 3 cars back and to the right.”
Keselowski’s playful response quickly gained traction, with NASCAR fans joining in on the fun.
One fan tweeted in response, “WOW. What. He wasn’t anywhere near you.”
Another fan added, “Somebody hand @austindillon3 a Kleenex before he humiliates himself. Oh wait…..”
Adding even more humor, one fan joked, “Brad, enough about where you were positioned. I’m more concerned about the allegation of having fleas. You good?”
The NASCAR community is no stranger to drivers being mistakenly blamed in heated moments on the track, and this certainly won’t be the last time. Radio outbursts are a staple of NASCAR, as drivers vent their frustrations when things don’t go their way.
At the end of the day, these moments — along with the intense racing — are what keep fans entertained. Both Keselowski and Dillon will be back on track next at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the Straight Talk Wireless 400.
