Najee Harris Fantasy Outlook This Week

You have likely heard the whispers that Najee Harris may lose his job in the Steel City. You may have watched him play this year and see he looks bigger and slower. However, this doesn’t matter much if he still has the confidence of Mike Tomlin.

Harris has almost a 2:1 rushing attempt advantage over Jaylen Warren this season, and as long as the Steelers trot him on the field, then I see him performing to some degree.

I believe the Steelers will feast on the Las Vegas Raiders’ 27th-ranked run defense this week, and most of that rushing work will go to Harris. This should be good for an RB2 performance in fantasy football.

Jaylen Warren Fantasy Outlook This Week

Warren looks electric, but at this moment, he’s only the pass-catching running back for the Steelers. I think the fantasy football community wants him to be Pittsburgh’s lead back and overtake Harris, but that transition will not happen this week.

I see Warren getting 3-5 catches for 30-50 yards, and he constantly threatens to break a long one. This is good for a Flex start for some fantasy teams.

Which of the Steelers’ Running Backs Should You Start?

This may be the last time I can write for you to start Harris over Warren this season. Like you, I see the switch as inevitable, but I don’t think this week is the time.

It makes more sense for them to make a change if they want to, after their Week 7 bye to give Warren time to learn the job correctly. Harris will plod his way to relevance, and Warren will have a few exciting plays, but your fantasy team will do better with the former.
