Monday Night NFL DFS Picks: Rams vs. Cardinals best lineup includes Cooper Kupp, Odell Beckham Jr., and Kyler Murray

If you're setting a Monday Night Football DFS lineup, check out PFN's NFL DFS picks for Week 14 -- our favorite lineup of the night.

Monday Night Football is known for four things: Mondays, nights, football, and DFS competitions. If you’re setting one or two or hundreds of DFS lineups for tonight’s contest between the Cardinals and Rams, Pro Football Network’s fantasy football department has you covered. We’ve run through potential game scripts to assemble NFL DFS picks with a great shot at winning in 50/50 contests and a decent shot to place in tournaments. As always, this Week 14 Monday Night Football DFS lineup is based on FanDuel pricing.

This lineup assumes a fairly close Cardinals victory, with Kyler Murray picking up where he left off last Sunday. In their last game, Arizona ran it 40 times on the Rams. I think Los Angeles will adjust in this one. Anything can happen, of course. But this lineup is designed to maximize the probability of success.

Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals ($17,000)

“Can fantasy managers trust Kyler Murray today?” That’s what I asked PFN fantasy newsletter subscribers last week. He entered Week 13 with a lower ceiling than last year due to a steep drop-off in rushing attempts and rushing yards. An improved defense had made him more of an afterthought in fourth quarters, as he’d averaged only 5.4 pass attempts in the final frame, down from 8.1 last year.

But he returned from an ankle injury and dominated the Bears. While tonight’s game won’t be as easy, arguably no player has a higher floor and higher ceiling than Murray. He was a 30-point QB last week despite throwing only 15 passes. He’s a safe bet for 20+ points tonight.

Christian Kirk, WR, Arizona Cardinals ($10,500)

For a while this season, Christian Kirk was a back-end WR2. He was averaging just over 4 receptions and 5 targets per game in his first seven contests while racking up 4 touchdowns. But injuries to Murray and DeAndre Hopkins thrust Kirk into a No. 1 receiver role against some stiff pass defenses.

Kirk’s decline began when Hopkins hurt his hamstring and exited early in Week 8 against the Packers’ stout D, and then continued against the 49ers and Panthers. However, I wouldn’t read too much into this decline. Kirk was targeted in the end zone last week and remains an integral part of Arizona’s passing attack.

Rondale Moore, WR, Arizona Cardinals ($7,500)

A second-round rookie, Rondale Moore doesn’t offer the ceiling of about half-a-dozen other receivers playing tonight. His snap count has hovered in the 39-43% range in his last two games. Realistically, Moore might not net more than 3 fantasy points.

But his talent is extraordinary, and it’s not hard to envision him as the Cards’ No. 2 receiver in 2022. Among all wideouts with 20+ targets, Moore’s 82.8% catch rate is the highest in the NFL. He’s also shown his versatility with 15 carries for 64 yards. Maybe tonight is too soon to expect a Moore breakout. But it’s coming, and I want to bet on him when it happens.

Top NFL DFS picks for Week 14 Monday Night Football | Rams

Which Rams players can we use in our Monday Night Football DFS lineup? Here are a few stars that will help us succeed tonight.

Cooper Kupp, WR, Los Angeles Rams ($15,000)

9+ targets in every game this season. 7+ receptions and 90+ yards in all but one contest. And what was that one “off” game? A 5-64 receiving line against these same Cardinals. So the question is, can Arizona lock Cooper Kupp down again?

Well, back then, they had Robert Woods and a still-green Van Jefferson. Now, Jefferson has ascended, and the field-stretching Odell Beckham Jr. has replaced the injured Woods. Some people might be scared off by Kupp’s toe injury. But he was a full participant in Friday’s practice. If his floor is 5-64, Kupp’s ceiling is comfortably around 12-120-2. If he splits the difference, DFS investors will be thrilled.

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Los Angeles Rams ($10,000)

Jefferson versus OBJ is a coin flip. Yet, OBJ is $1,000 cheaper. Both have solid 16+ point potential, and both have roughly 8-point floors.

The Rams signed Beckham to help make them Super Bowl contenders. A loss tonight would nearly end their hopes of an NFC West title. A win would pull them within one game of the Cardinals and a possible first-round bye. So yeah, there’s a lot riding on Monday Night Football.

If we believe Beckham will rise to the occasion, he’s a must-start in DFS and regular leagues. While the risks are legitimate, the upside is unquestionable.
