Paul Skenes’ Girlfriend Olivia Dunne Pens Heartfelt 9-Word Farewell Message as She Bids Goodbye to LSU Tigers Gymnastics

Not only is Paul Skenes one of the most talked-about players in the MLB, but he is also well known for who he is dating. Skenes is in a relationship with LSU gymnast and social media star Olivia Dunne. They met during their time at LSU and have remained together since. Dunne is in her final year at LSU and posted a message for her final gymnastics meet.

Olivia Dunne Posts Farewell Message to LSU

On her Instagram page, Dunne posted a story captioned, “One last time in the PMAC with my sistas.” PMAC stands for Pete Maravich Assembly Center, where LSU hosts basketball games and gymnastic matches, among other events.

Dunne is the most well-known college gymnast in the nation. She has 5.3 million followers on Instagram and eight million on TikTok, making her even more popular than Skenes, one of the MLB’s best pitchers. This LSU power couple has made their university proud with all they have accomplished.

Dunne attended Pittsburgh Pirates games last season, and it will be interesting to see if she makes any more games this season. Skenes is expected to be one of the best pitchers in baseball this year. He is the favorite to win the NL Cy Young Award and has a chance to lead the entire league in strikeouts.

    Skenes Chasing History

Skenes is looking to become the first Pirates pitcher to win the Cy Young award since Doug Drabek in 1990. The Pirates have been tough to watch over the past few seasons, mainly because they have not had many exciting players. Skenes has lived up to the hype of being a first-overall pick; the better he pitches, the higher expectations will rise.

Even after a successful rookie season, Skenes is far from satisfied. He has looked for ways to improve this offseason and has come across a new pitch. Skenes has seemingly introduced a cutter into his repertoire.

Skenes has made two starts so far in spring training; he has thrown six innings, allowing eight hits with seven strikeouts. His ERA is 4.50, but most pitchers are working on specific things early in spring training, so the stats are typically inconclusive.

We will see Skenes make his first start of the regular season on Opening Day. It will be the first of many in his career, and he will take on the Miami Marlins on March 27.
