ESPN’s Mina Kimes Alerts Fans About a Potential A.J. Brown Trade

Amid the alleged Hurts-Brown feud sparked by the Eagles WR’s comments, ESPN’s Mina Kimes weighed in on a potential consequence on Brown’s future with the team while drawing out comparisons between former Buffalo Bills star Stefon Diggs.

“If A.J. Brown isn’t targeted more in the future, while I don’t think maybe that’s a problem this season, I could see a Stefon Diggs situation arising in the offseason. He has made it very clear he wants to be the focal point of the offense and that is his prerogative,” Kimes stated.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni did his best to do some damage control following Brown’s comments by clearing the air during an interview, sharing that he talks to both Brown and Hurts all the time about “life to everything.”

Sirianni sees both Hurts and Brown working on getting better together daily and discussing football, like running a route or how Brown will read the signals. He discussed how both Eagles stars spend so much time together, and that whatever happens on the field is due to the “high emotions” players feel for three hours every Sunday.

“I get to see them after practice working on routes together and talking (about) how they will go. And so again, I know there were assumptions of things, and we get how that goes. Still, I can only go on my personal experience of how these guys interact daily. These guys are so locked in and focused on getting better and getting better together, so they’re on the same page to go and accomplish the things we want to accomplish,” Sirianni clarified.

Not only Sirianni but Brown has also clarified that his comments were misunderstood while making it clear his relationship with QB Hurts stays intact.
