Midseason 2020 NFL mock draft: Four quarterbacks in the top-10

With the season halfway through, what would the NFL Draft look like if it started today? Matt Valdovinos provides such a scenario via his mideseason 2020 NFL Mock Draft.

#81. Philadelphia Eagles: Khalid Kareem, EDGE, Notre Dame

Overshadowed by Julian Okwara Khalid Kareem has become a very good player for the Irish as well. The Eagles have a need at edge rusher and took a flyer on former fifth-round pick Genard Avery via trade. I expect them to target an edge rusher in this draft and Kareem fits what they like to do.

#82. Jacksonville Jaguars: David Woodward, LB, Utah State

#83. Carolina Panthers: Solomon Kindley, IOL, Georgia

#84. Los Angeles Rams: Jack Driscoll, OT, Auburn

The Rams are squeezing all they can out of Andrew Whitworth, but he’s likely going to retire either this year or next. Finding his successor is vital, and Jack Driscoll fits the ball. A transfer student, Driscoll has far exceeded expectations when faced against elite SEC competition and has elevated his draft stock.

#85. Dallas Cowboys: Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri

#86. Cleveland Browns(via HOU): Shyheim Carter, Saf, Alabama

#87. Kansas City Chiefs: Darrell Taylor, EDGE, Tennessee

#88. Minnesota Vikings: Walker Little, OT, Stanford

There’s no such thing as drafting too many offensive linemen. The Vikings lack quality starters and quality depth at the tackle position. Little can be a spot starter and a competent swing tackle for the Vikings.

#89. Buffalo Bills: Jonathan Greenard, EDGE, Florida

#90. Indianapolis Colts: Darnay Holmes, CB, UCLA

#91. Las Vegas Raiders: Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia

The Raiders take Fromm to either push Derek Carr or to pass him. Either way, they’ll get their best possible QB play. Fromm is intelligent enough to run Gruden’s wordy west coast system. A potential starting QB his late into the draft isn’t common.

#92. Green Bay Packers: DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama

#93. Baltimore Ravens: Bryan Edwards, WR, NC State

#94. New Orleans Saints: Aaron Fuller, WR, Washington

#95. Denver Broncos(via SF): Calvin Throckmorton, OT, Oregon

#96. New England Patriots: Nick Coe, DL, Auburn

Coe fits the mold of Patriots edge rushers that dominate the line of scrimmage and are plus run defenders. Coe has experience all along the Auburn defensive front, and the kind of versatility will be utilized by a genius like Bill Belichick. Picks like these are where the Patriots get their value from the draft.
