Midseason 2020 NFL mock draft: Four quarterbacks in the top-10

With the season halfway through, what would the NFL Draft look like if it started today? Matt Valdovinos provides such a scenario via his mideseason 2020 NFL Mock Draft.

    Round Two

#33. Miami Dolphins: Prince Tega-Wanogho, OT, Auburn

#34. Cincinnati Bengals: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma

#35. Atlanta Falcons: Yetur Gross-Matos, EDGE, Penn State

To pair with their earlier pick in Okudah, the Falcons double-dip on Big-10 defenders. Gross-Matos possesses very exciting physical abilities along with some excellent production. Both players would look to be future cornerstones of the Atlanta defense.

#36. Indianapolis Colts(via WAS): Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson

#37. New York Jets: K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU

#38. Denver Broncos: Austin Jackson, OT, USC

#39. New York Giants: Monty Rice, LB, Georgia

Giants have a massive need at the linebacker spot. Rice might not be the best player available, but the need is too great to pass up again. Rice is a three-down linebacker who projects as a quality starter in the NFL, it’s an easy decision to draft him.

#40. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Trey Adams, OT, Washington

#41. Cleveland Browns: Shane Lemieux, IOL, Oregon

#42. Los Angeles Chargers: Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin

Melvin Gordon probably won’t be a Charger much longer. Why not replace the productive former Badger with an even more productive current Badger? Jonathan Taylor would be a steadying force while Jordan Love works his through the turmoils of the NFL.

#43: Pittsburgh Steelers: Curtis Weaver, EDGE, Boise State

#44. Chicago Bears: Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia

#45. Chicago Bears(via LVR): Brycen Hopkins, TE, Purdue

The Trey Burton experience hasn’t really worked out for the Bears. They should replace him and go younger with a guy like Brycen Hopkins. Hopkins has a fundamental understanding of how to get open and posses requisite athleticism to make the big play. He’s also a willing blocker.

#46. Arizona Cardinals: Paddy Fisher, LB, Northwestern

#47. Jacksonville Jaguars: Alaric Jackson, OT, Iowa

#48. Tennessee Titans: Grant Calcaterra, TE, Oklahoma

After spending their first-round pick on a QB who can push it down the field, why not use your second-rounder on a tight-end who can bust the seam. Eason to Calcaterra would be a lethal weapon for the Titans.
