Is Michael Penix Jr. Playing in Week 16?

Penix is not listed on the injury report this week, so barring any setbacks, he is on track to play this weekend.

We’ll continue to monitor the Falcons’ injury report. You can also visit and bookmark our NFL Injury Tracker and Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.

Should You Start or Sit Michael Penix Jr. in Week 16?

Penix, the eighth overall pick in April, will make his starting debut this weekend with the postseason hopes of this franchise on his shoulders.

It’s a soft landing spot (bottom-five in interception rate, yards per attempt, completion percentage, and passer rating), but that doesn’t mean that you blindly start a rookie with your fantasy season on the line.

Realistically, I’m not changing much in terms of my rankings for Week 16 because we simply don’t know what to expect. Bijan Robinson and Drake London remain starters in all formats while Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts are outside of my comfort zone.
